Sn0wbreeze 2.9.7. After a long time iH8sn0w has updated sn0wbreeze with the support of iOS 6.0.1 and iOS 6.0. With Sn0wbreeze v2.9.7 users of iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch can tethered jailbreak their devices on iOS 6.0.1 and iOS 6.0. Before that Dev Team was also released Redsn0w to tethered jailbreak A4 devices on iOS 6.0.1 and iOS 6.0.
Snowbreeze 2.9.7 is only available for windows users if you are on MAC then please use Redsn0w to jailbreak your device
what’s new in Sn0wbreeze v2.9.7:
- Added 6.0 (10A403)/6.0.1 (10A523) support. (Only includes iPhone 3GS & A4 devices).
- The 6.0/6.0.1 is currently a tethered based jailbreak via iBooty (except for iPhone 3GS old bootrom users).
- SAM is built-in for iOS 6 hacktivations. (Hacktivated phones can reboot to a semi-tethered state after being activated [rather than just hang at the Apple Logo]). Kudos @sbingner!
Sn0wbreeze allows user to make custom iOS firmware file that is pre jailbroken, via which user can upgrade their Apple devices to iOS 6.0.1 and iOS 6.0. Well the latest version of Sn0wBreeze 2.9.7 will not support A5 and A6 devices.
